I'm guessing the opposing team's pitching coach has a chat with their pitcher before every game against the Angels that goes something like this:

 

Coach: "Hey so uh, you're facing the Angels today"

 

Pitcher: "Yeah I know, Trout, Pujols, it's gonna be tough"

 

Coach: "Haha no no no man, listen. All you gotta do is throw the ball right down the middle. They will either take it for a strike regardless of the count, or ground out weakly to the left side."

 

Pitcher: "Wait, that doesn't sound like a good pl"

 

Coach: "Just trust me on this."
