Hamilton resting to "clear his head" won't do anything. The guy needs to overhaul his entire approach AND learn better pitch recognition.Tough to expect that to happen at his current age

 

He was raking at the beginning of the season, pretty much the hottest hitter in the game. Then the thumb injury. I'm guessing that has something to do with his current struggles.

wow - now it's tempting to speculate that there's something else going on behind the scenes. maybe something in his personal life? they're in the heat of a pennant race. more than 1 game to "clear his head" is a little odd.
