seartle was like 2 games behind us a week and a half back. We took 2 out of 3. 3 out of 4 from detroit.

Will the dodgers not make the playoffs either? They went 2 and 6 against pittsburg and st lou last week before sweeping the giants...should they be as worried?

They've been close games, so its not like they're stomping us. Good teams seem to win close games, but its also a little fluky imo

I think overall the angels are much more talented than the O's

Absolutely..   When Showalter told Machado to hit a HR yesterday, he did it.   MS told Trout to do that and he didn't do it.  Mike Scioscia sucks.   Then today Showalter told Adam Jones to hit another HR and HE DID IT.   Meanwhile, Mike Scioscia again told Mike Trout to hit a HR today and NOTHING.

 

That's pretty much the extent of the strategy involved of late hasn't it?

Two teams they need to beat to even make the playoffs. 4-10 against the As and Orioles this year is pathetic. Im just saying, they better start turning it around like tomorrow if they even want to entertain the idea of the playoffs.

Two teams they need to beat to even make the playoffs. 4-10 against the As and Orioles this year is pathetic. Im just saying, they better start turning it around like tomorrow if they even want to entertain the idea of the playoffs.

I'd be willing to bet that if the Angels win 92 games they'll make the playoffs. They only need to go 29-27 over the final 56 games to win 92 games. They still have a lot games left against bad teams. They should easily win 92 games.

Didnt they take 2 of 3 from oakland the last time they played? Whats the record against detroit? Against toronto? And the other playoff bound teams.

If were going off of 5 games against baltimore, we mine as well say we'll be fine because houston will take of oakland for us in september...
