Detroit might have the best rotation in baseball. No disgrace to have Scherzer beat us.

I agree.  It becomes more obvious when the Angels play elite teams that will do what they need to for a win.  However, I think the Angels are doing really well considering that the #4 hitter is a non-factor.  I know that Scioscia would still stay with Hamilton if he was a rookie because of his prodigious batting practice power.

 

I am not so sure about the wild card........based on the level of play and the upcoming level of competition, anything can happen.  The only sure things in life are death, taxes, and Pujols hitting third.
