Angels are the second hottest team in baseball right now. The problem is, the hottest team has been the A's who are 9-1 in their last 10 games.

Rotation is doing a lot to help the team win right now.  The Trumbo trade was a gamble in regards to Skaggs, and so far it's paying off big time (glad I was wrong).  They also cut out the worst guy from the rotation (Santiago) which they took way too long to do last year (Blanton).  If we had a lockdown closer we'd be in 1st place.

FF if the Angels and the A's both had lock down closers we would still be in second place. Hell we wouldn't be in first if we only we had lock down closer. You can't assume a lock down closer closes 100% of their opportunities.

Makes me wonder if people still want Sosh fired, or only when the team doesn't win every game?

 

I'd laugh if someone started posting the exact opposite of the Fire X crowd when the team wins or plays well.

Which would probably just lead them to mentioning the team hitting league average with RISP, but to them the team sucks at it or Trout K's too much.
