We need to start defining 'definitive' evidence. Ibanez looked like he might have been out from that angle, yet he looks safe from all others. I am not convinced he was out by that angle, but I do believe it is possible. I feel like the umpire watching the replays is simply making the call, rather than determining if it is actually 'definitive.'

I know everyone besides me is a huge fan of replay, but as far as I'm concerned it seems like its pointlessness is absolutely proven nightly.

 

I was in favor of it at the beginning of the season. I now hate it because the umps are making up their own rules. It seems they just flip a coin whether to overturn a ruling. They are dinosaurs that are unable to utilize the technology effectively.

The devil is always in the details. I'm a fan of replay IF they can implement it effectively. Of course I thought their ability to do that was unlikely.
