I hope Trumbo does well like trolldaddy I always root for ex-Angels.  He is going to get his 30 to 40 HR'S and with that of course come RBI's. But don't the Angels as a team lead the majors in HR's. And someone has to be getting RBI's we have had some high scoring games.

 

 I know this thread was not intended to be about the trade but I am glad the Angels traded from a point of strength (Trumbo/offense) for a point of weakness(Skaggs/Santiago/pitching). In my opinion it was one of the few good things this offseason that addressed the pitching of this team. I also think when you post Trumbo stats in a Angel forum of course it is going to bring up the trade. Fact is Baseball is a team game. I know it is a old saying but there is no I in team.

Well I just think Pimp is ×××××××× because he thinks RBIs and HR makes trumbo a great player.

 

RBI's and pitcher Win's are a great team stat. Nothing more, nothing less.

They should never ever be used to evaluate a player's talents.

 

Saying you are old school is just a shitty cop out.
