Selection show going on right now.  Oregon got a 12 seed, crazy.

Cal 12 seed against UNLV in the East Region.  First round games being played in San Jose.

 

Cal and Oregon get the same seed?  Oregon should have been higher.  What seed is Arizona going to get?

Colorado a 10 seed lol.

 

UNC a 8 seed.  Lowest they have ever been.  Last time they were an 8 they made it to the Final Four.

Wow did we get fu**ed by that seeding. I guess it's better than 8/9 if you can win the first game but wins against UCLA (twice), Arizona, @UNLV, and winning the conference tournament should have gotten us a lower (better) seed. I guess we were somehow a bubble team and probably wouldn't have made it if we lost last night. The NCAA strikes again.

Definately better for the PAC-12 than a year ago, to get 5 teams

A year ago, LB was the ONLY SoCal team to make it (SDSU considered LoCal).

A year ago, the PAC-12 regular season champ (U-Dub) didn't even make it.

I was fine with UDub getting jobbed last year, because, well, screw UDub.

 

Oregon did seem to get a bit of the shaft this year, though.

Lol yeah I laughed that Washington didn't get in last year as well. I also laughed when their football team went 0-12 and when RGIII scored at will against them. Good stuff.

the ncaa's seeding thing is a joke. ucla goes 3-0 against arizona and wins the pac-12 yet the cats get to stay out west.

Picking against UNLV was one of the smartest things I did in my bracket. The Rebels suck on the road. Shot barely over 30 percent from the floor and missed a bunch of free throws.

At least the game was evenly officiated and Cal and UNLV got close to the same number of free throws. That was nice to see.

The entire MWC was horrible on the road this year.  Good to see CSU pull it out.  They have a lot of seniors so it helped.
