I've watched a million of those commercials through the years.

 

I remember the one of him wrestling a Bengal tiger. That was one tame tiger.

if he had passed saturday night while watching the usc game, it might have been considered a homicide.

RIP. He had a huge dealership in Anchorage AK, in the middle of winter we would see his commercials from CA with all the sun. And we would hate him.

My dad bought his 74 Dodge truck, which I drove all through high school, from Worthington Dodge.

Oddly enough, he also named his dog Spot.

I remember falling asleep during late night movies and being woken up by the suddenly loud commercials featuring Cal and Spot. It's Cal worthington and his dog spot!

One of the only memories I have of my great-grandparents is me sitting on their floor and singing along to the commercial reciting pussy cow, pussy cow, pussy cow.

My dad laughed his ass off.

My mom... not so much.

Amazingly, Brimley isn't that old. I don't even think he is 80 yet. Thing is, he looked like he was 85 when he was popular, 30 years ago.
