I haven't looked at the players but I bet it's much better than what was left by the time Kawhi made up his mind

No as I said on the previous page, sign everyone to a 1 year deal and try again next year from the start

Lakers got played. I mean, I don't blame them for waiting but too bad no one could figure out what Kawhi was really doing. He definitely is strange. Made the Lakers miss out on good FA so he could make the Clippers better.

The quality of players willing to sign 1-year deals is significantly lower than those that get 2-year deals. The Lakers weren't going to punt on this upcoming season. 

Also, how often does the "wait until next year's FA class so we can sign ____" actually work?

Come on now, KCP, McGee, Cook are not really that kind of quality that need 2 years; that's 15.2 million on the 3. Green? yes, but not the rest..

Could see Avery Bradley, Korver after a buyout, Iggy after a buyout, Morris twins,  I'd like Collison.  If we ran a starting lineup of Collison-Green-Lebron-AD and McGee I'd be happy.  Even the same with AD at 5 and Kuzma at 4.  Either lineup with Bradley for Collison is likely good too.

They didn't get played it's not like he had a handshake agreement then backed out like DeAndre Jordan did to the Mavericks years ago.  I don't think Leonard wanted to play second fiddle and he ultimately figured out a way to end up playing in his hometown with another in his prime star on a team with depth that is currently favored to win it all.  According to articles he convinced George to force a trade from OKC where he reportedly wasn't happy playing with Westbrook.  Leonard had a plan and made it happen while the Lakers much like last year were hoping their history and big names would draw another FA.

I think the Clippers were masterful in making their offseason happen.  Pissed at Kawhi for stringing us along, even forcing us to push trade window back to buy Clippers more time.  Kobe once said "if I have to convince you to join the Lakers and be the man on the greatest franchise in sports history, you ain't the one" or something like that.  Couldn't be more true today with the last 12 hours events with KY and George.
