Remakes you would like to see (movies)

I would love to see a remake of Jaws with modern day CGI.  Also, I'd like the script to match the Jaws book instead of the original movie script.  Way better story! 

Or remake Sharknado with top of the line CGI.

Also, CGI in a Jaws movie would strip it of any suspense.

I thought it was pretty good. He was able to make the movie stand apart from the other Halloweens. It was the most enjoyable one other than 1 and 2.

I thought Molly was OK for Frannie, and Gary Sinise was good as Stu.  I just didn't like whomever it was that played Randall Flagg.  

 

The trouble with any version of "IT" is the ending.  I love the book but the ending, quite frankly, sucks.  Even the best CGI can't make that ending better than what has preceded it.

IT was scarier than hell, but Glen is totally right.  Stephen King was trouble with endings and that ending is covered in all things wrong.  You would pretty much have to alter the ending.

 

I can say though that the portions where Pennywise is interacting with the kids is some of the scariest stuff even on tv.

Agree. Pennywise was some scary shit. That ending with the spider was terrible. I say remake AND rewrite the ending , and you have a winner
