He's not a top 5 pitcher, probably not top 10, but he's probably top 20. I see him as a "1.5" - maybe a 2, but certainly not a 3.

Yeah, I'm very concerned that his numbers have continued to hold up even with his declining velocity. I'm also concerned that he lead the league with lowest WHIP only throwing a 70 mph fastball last year. Definitely not an ace.

i made a similar thread a month or so ago. He's not Going to be the same pitcher if he's throwing 86 mph. Maybe if you werent a homer, you'd see that

Weaver's success or lack of has a lot to with the entire teams performance. Sub par defense and lack of offense can be very taxing on an ACE pitcher each and every game. Weaver would probably be a 20 game winner in Detroit or St Louis.
