Interesting Mathis stat

They are 21-53 when some other catcher starts.

 

He is playing tonight, and they are leading the Dodgers 2-1 after five.

You don't know sarcasm when you hear it? I have always been a Mathis supporter for many years on this site.

He does lead the NL in catchers ERA and fifth in throwing out runners.

Is real value is how he works with the pitching staff to improve their game.
