Another reason for Arte to just shake his head and wonder how

LA bandwagonned the Angels while the Dodgers sucked. Now that the Dodgers don't suck, Arte's getting a lesson that when it comes right down to it, the vast majority of fans that are true Angels fans are from Orange County, not Los Angeles, despite what he changes his name to.

Win, and they will come. Suck when there's a better option around and the stadium is vacant, despite the Buttercup song.

Reasons the Dodgers' attendance has increased so dramatically:

1. Get out of jail free card with every family four pack.

2. Free box seat to anyone on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list.

3. Free Dodger Dog and large soda to any fan wearing the opposing team's gear who makes it into the stadium without being assaulted.

4. $500 cash prize for the best tattoo on Street Gang Night at the stadium.

There will come a time in the near future where the Dodgers will suck and the Angels will be good again.  This is baseball people.  If you don't like it go watch football.

Kinda hard for the Dodgers to suck with a $250M Payroll. They can throw money and mask whatever problems they have.

as predicted, Dodgers franchise has come roaring back from the McCourt dead ball era.

when you win in LA  (or anywhere, but S. Cal seems to be top of the list of fickle fans) fans fill the stands.

today's LA Times headline has Dodgers looking at breaking 4 million in attendance this season.

And, yes, Dodger Stadium holds something like 10,000 more seats than Angels Stadium  -- but that's not what's making the difference this year.

Expect lots of empty seats in Anaheim the rest of August and September...........
