Bourjos' catch had such a high degree of difficulty it's unbelievable. Full speed, over the wall, hits the wall first, hangs up until the ball gets there. Trout's looked prettier and Edmonds' was incredible too, but Bourjos' catch was on another level. That being said, I voted for Trout because of his boyish charm.

Why is Erstad for the final out of game seven of the World Series not an option. That was the greatest catch in Angels baseball.

The discussion isn't about sentimental value and "impact". It's about how impressive the actual catch itself was from an athletic standpoint.

Where's GA's sliding catch down the LF line in Game 3 of the 2002 ALDS. First, anyone who closely followed GA knew the dude never "got after" a ball in the outfield. Thus the nickname Cadillac GA. And after he made the catch my buddies and I who were watching the game knew this team was destined to beat the Yankees.

Cant find any Devon White or Gary Pettis catches, I'm sure they had a few spectacular catches going unnotice

Devon White and Gary Pettis had some nice catches, but to my recollection none of them were as memorable as the ones listed in this poll.

I was a big Pettis and White fan too and watched most if not all the games on tv during their years.
