On the Callaspo trade: "It's a move to try and get us more athletic.  Alberto was a great player for us."

Amazing how many times Scioscia said "great" whilst talking about Callaspo.   And.... I don't even care what the man says.  I care what he does. I wonder if he is really disappointed to lose Callaspo.  Say it ain't so.

I think Scioscia was actually trying to be funny when he said they traded Callaspo to try to get more athletic because they traded him for an Oakland A (athletics)

 

I also think he was tired of the game and probably asked the ump to give him the ejection.
