In my worthless opinion the lineup should be

Rengifo 3B

Trout CF

O’Hoppe C

Ward LF

Drury 2B

Hicks/Adell RF

DH spot

Schanuel 1B

Neto SS

Rengifo has been squaring the ball up pretty well despite the limited playing time. Wouldn't mind giving him some more ABs at leadoff.

i'm on board ...schanuel can stay up here  in the majors cause it's a rebuild year but has to move down in the order for sure !

Time is coming when Schanuel needs to be sent down. Rengifo in lineup every day I mean what does he have to do. Adell in lineup every day. Halos just hand 1B to Schanuel and rush him up. Put Sano at 1B.

Lol.  Stfu. Sano is not the answer.

Get rid of the yellow line in RF.

100% agree.

I know it's there to benefit both teams but it seems to burn us more than it helps. Also a ball smacking off the scoreboard and staying in play just doesn't feel like a home run, the ball should definitely have to clear the scoreboard to be a home run.

Just adds a unique dimension to the field.

I'm quite a fan of quirky stadium dimensions and when they put that line in I was pretty bummed. I used to love watch Calhoun play the ball off that wall. He always seemed to know just the right angle and location to be in when the ball came off of it.

Schanuel is not the answer right now he is not ready. Sano would add more power to lineup and what does Nolan add right now. Sorry but in my opinion he is not ready. Putting him behind Rendon has been a total disaster. Put Drury at 1B and Rengifo at 2B. Washington experiment with Rendon at leadoff is not working. Keeping Rengifo out lineup is stupid.I'm starting to think RW was the wrong hire.

I’d go:

Schanuel 1st (see if this gets him spraying to all fields again)

Trout CF

Ward LF

O’Hoppe C

Rendon 3rd

Drury 2nd

Adell RF

Rengifo DH

Neto SS

That's more or less what I think it should be, too. Anyone who's arguing for Sano at 1B over Schanuel a week into the season is crazy.

Personally, I like Rengifo at leadoff with Schanuel batting 2nd. Historically, Regnifo has hit well at leadoff (134 wRC+) and I like the lefty in the two spot if Washington is going to commit to guys stealing often. If Schanuel starts to hit again, that gives more opportunities for Trout to bat with guys on base than if they slot him in the two hole.

If it were up to me I would go:

Against RHP

DH/3B Rengifo

1B Schanuel

CF Trout

LF Ward

C O'Hoppe

3B/DH Rendon

2B Drury

RF Adell/Moniak

SS Neto

----

Against LHP:

3B Rendon

CF Trout

LF Ward

C O'Hoppe

2B Drury

RF Hicks

DH Adell

1B Sano/Schanuel

SS Neto

I guess it switched slightly after yesterday.  Rendon is at 4.70/PA, O'Hoppe is 4.64.  They're both in the top 5 in the majors so far:

Some would say this is a Completely irrelevant stat.

Doubtful that Very few, if any, teams that focus on winning care about this

Maybe it would benefit Schanuel and halos if he developed in minors. He is very young player and maybe Angels have rushed another player who is not ready. Sano adds a power bat to halo lineup. Put Drury at 1B and Rengifo at2B. Can anyone explain why Rengifo is not playing every day?

I think all of your posts are irrelevant, so you have that in common with this stat, then.
