It’s interesting to me that Hoornstra reported this the same week he left the OCR to join Dodgers Nation.

Just kinda weird. I trusted JP when he was with the OCR, so did something change when he joined Dodgers Nation?

If this becomes a reality, I am ok with that. I thought I would be upset but that’s not how I feel. Let Ohtani go live in obscurity in Canada. If the Jays don’t win multiple World Series titles then it’s a bad signing on their behalf. They have the talent already there to go far every year.

I'm sure it was the Dodgers Nation folks trying to get clicks. They are making a fortune today in advertisement money.

I remember when we signed Albert Pujols in 2011. Made $1500 in one day of advertisement revenue because we were basically Twitter for Angels fans.

Why the Angels in Anaheim originally?  The dude likes the anonymity and lack of media attention -- and the ability to have personal control of things from the team, etc.

Oh, I just realized there's no Del Taco in Toronto, so that makes me 99% sure the Blue Jays are out.

That means it's down to: 1. Angels, 2. Dodgers, 3. Barstow Aztecs

I just hope the Blue Jays don't take Shohei to Alexandros in Toronto.  If they did, Shohei will sign there.  We can't compete with their chicken and pork combo gyro.
