Today's starting pitchers in Baltimore, Andrew Heaney for the Rangers, and Kyle Bradish for the Orioles, were both property of the Angels at one point?

Bradish has developed into a solid number 2 for Baltimore, and Heaney seems to be a little more pitch efficient since he left Anaheim.

The Angel front office has been a disaster.  Arte is ground zero.   No one ever takes accountability.  But they dish out accountability to underlings who were handcuffed by following the master plan of the front office.  Exactly why 8 consecutive losing seasons.

But the goal may be marketing over winning.   We will get confirmation on that theory based on what happens with Ohtani

I used to think this was Nevins wife…. this might actually be Phil Nevin.  Hi Phil!

Plus Webb came out of the pen for the Os.

Look, we get you miss your girlfriend but she's not coming back and it's her own fault so quit blaming everyone else.

I don't remember Bradish in the Halos system -- did we trade him away?

Heaney pitched for us but was very inconsistent here and then went to the Yankees and remember seeing him getting shelled in several outings there. Halos gave Heaney a fair chance - I don't feel that bad that he was let go -

Bradish - can't remember him in the Halos system at all.

The overal failure of the 2023 is not Nevin’s fault.  The club said that explicitly.

But Nevin losing Nevin’s job is 100% on Phil Nevin.

This is a good way to put it. If he was impressing them in other ways, which by the way is totally possible, then he would still be here. If he could point to improvements made by the club, in a measurable way, then they would have picked up his option. I can’t think of a single part of the club that improved, compared to the league, this year.

The league wasn't fielding AAA players for most of the season.

The development of Rookies can be attributed to him.

The club was in playoff contention at the trade deadline.

The clubhouse held together despite the injuries and losses due to poor SP.

and how is that different than last year?
