Ditch Velazquez, and that lineup looks pretty good...

There's a mistake in the lineup, as Velazquez is listed as the starting SS and on the bench.  Obviously, one of those should be Rengifo.

Adams and Adell both started terrible. Jo had that bounce off his glove home run. Adams botched an easy pop up. Too soon for both of them in their debuts.

Both should be Rengifo.

Advice to Giolito, no more big single crooked number innings, por favor.   Whatever you are doing in the other 5 innings each start, do that in the other inning.

Then again, Velazquez hits 100 pts worse as a LHH  vs RHP than Rengifo does.

It will be interesting. Trout couldn't hit a good fastball all season. Now, he's going to try to hit them without facing live game pitching for 7 weeks. The top 2 should be able to at least draw some walks which will hopefully give Ohtani a chance to swing the bat.

Time for them to put their big boy pants back on, and stop losing two out of every 3 games (7-15 in past 22 games).

The schedule starts to get a little easier going forward, and with Trout back they are now only truly waiting for Neto to return (hopefully during the next road trip).

I like seeing him and Ohtani back-to-back, since who knows what'll happen after this year.  My guess is he'll be a little rusty and then pick up the pace after a few games, so I'm not expecting too much right away--but you never know with him.
