Looks like his last game before this one was on July 28.  He started and threw 95 pitches for Salt Lake.  He consistently threw 85+ pitches every start for Salt Lake this year.

I said Patrick Sandoval was probably the biggest Angels disappointment for me this season, but looks like I gotta change that to Detmers, especially after it looked like he was finally starting to put it all together. He's completely cratered and today was rock bottom. Getting obliterated by Jon Singleton, who was out of MLB for years prior to this season. Yikes man.

It's so pointless to watch what a particular team ahead of the Angels does.  There are so many of them.

Angels still need to reach At Least 91 wins, otherwise it's moot.
