I went with a boring vacation of Vegas and Havasu.  At the end of the day we wanted to be a few hours from home because we have a grandson that is due in a few weeks.  My vacation starts a week from Tuesday and I am simply looking forward to disengaging from work for a week or so.

Good call. That way if you get bored at Havasu you are only a 6 hour drive away from the always exciting Tombstone.

I hear the Sphere movie is pretty amazing.  I'm going to see it in December.  Just don't park there, as I hear vallet is $100.  But that might have just been for U2.
