Trout usually murders Texas pitching. Too bad he's not in his usual form. But a day's rest may help in the next two games. And we may see him pinch hit. A chance for Moniak to make more of an impression. 

Hopefully Walsh is being given a reduced role. Maybe against K.C. they let him try to get it together again. But this series is too important to risk with his current slump 

Remember how improved Rengifo was last year? Probably a career year never to be repeated, but he still can be a useful player. A switch hitter is always good to have. 

Having won yesterday reduces the pressure a little bit for today. But they can't do worse than a split in this series. Hopefully they win it.

Looking ahead halos 3 more with Texas then on to KC. Toronto will be playing Texas. Monday halos could be near top of AL west. Like Arte said before season started we have unfinished business.

Trout was announced as a sit for Tuesday before Monday's game. Nevin doesn't want to risk Trout four straight games on concrete-lined rubber grass. Trout will play Wednesday and Thursday.
