Terry Smith isn't the only one that does that.  Back when Bourjos had his catch, the Orioles announcers were going crazy about it like it was one of their own that did it.

You know when you use 3 "^^^"'s you're actually referring to a post 3 above yours, so in fact you'd be referring to Nate's post. 

 

 

Victor was pretty excited about it too.  I see nothing wrong with that.

 

 

The annoyance is that they get loud and excited and start talking fast during the opposing teams plays, and when they're getting excited and raising their voices you'd figure it means a good thing for the Angels.

 

For example, a fan of the Angels is listening and hoping Terry is getting excited because the opposing team dropped the ball, maybe it's obvious they're not going to get to the ball, or it sounds like the Angels are gonna start rallying, getting men into scoring position, or scoring some runs.

 

And it takes some wind out of you when you were built up with Terry's anticipation and excitement to realize all that happened is the Angels just got robbed. And its just putting salt in the would when Terry continues to go into detail about us getting robbed after sounding like we were gonna rally by saying "OH BOY HE WENT A LONG WAY FOR THAT ONE IT WAS A HECK OF A PLAY." I just don't need to hear it! Get excited when we're actually scoring runs, don't sound like you're a fan of both teams making great plays when we're getting screwed!
