The Angels need to pick a lane. Either be good or be so horrendously awful that fans will be showing up with “SELL THE TEAM” signs like in Oakland.

Arte kept this team because he bought into the optimism that this team could make the playoffs.

If you’re not gonna make the playoffs, suck all that optimism out of him and make him so miserable watching the team that he’ll follow through and sell the team.

The players are too good to be as miserable as you are suggesting.
