Moving him out of the lead off spot with a pretty decent OBP and moving him down to a position where he needs to drive in runs isn’t really going to help.  In one of the threads it said in the last week his OBP was .375 despite his low batting average.

Batting 7th isn't a "drive runs in" dependent placement.
