The team really needs to take advantage of a series like this. Not quite as many of them this year.

These are the type of series that need to be swept. Hovering around .500 at this point isn't good enough anymore. 

To get to the playoffs they will need to win around 90 games minimum the way things are seeming to shape up. 

These are the kind of situations where you start building that momentum from.

It never seems to matter how bad the A's are. They always seem to play like the early 70's A's when they face the Angels, and the Angels tend to play like the early 70's Angels.

At the beginning of the homestand, I said they should take at least 5 of 7. I think that's a necessity.
