Ugh. Feel so bad for him. Very curious to see what kind of move the Angels make now.  There is no way Wallach and Thaiss should be the duo for that long of a time.

Still only 23, should be 100% for next season.

My goal now for them is just finishing over .500, and then re-sign Ohtani and contend going forward.

Give the young pitchers time to develop further and get the AA/AAA guys up here at some point for experience.

I suspect if we don't make the playoffs, Ohtani will probably move on to a team that offers him the opportunity to make the playoffs on a yearly basis.

It is hard to envision Ohtani staying after not making the playoffs once in the six years he has been here.
