Yeah 2.5 hours is a good snow-shoveling session. I've done it a few times and decided to go in halves with my neighbor on the snowblower. If you zoom in on the photo I posted above you can see where my sidewalk ends and the neighbor's begins. He was using one of those battery-operated snowblowers, didn't quite cut it.

One of our neighbors is Mormon. She grows vegetables in her garden and shares them with us (even though we're not Mormon). Last year she gave us a butternut squash that was about twice the size of most you find in the grocery store. This year she gave us some zucchini and yellow squash that were were very sweet and I had no idea that's what they are actually supposed to taste like.

Nice. Yeah, my aunt's place is very tight nit in that area and there is usually an older gentleman that just breaks out his snow blower and does all the public or common areas for the neighborhood. Dude just goes up and down the streets clearing off the sidewalks for everyone.

Dig your place. I like Eagle quite a bit.

We had one neighbor a couple of doors down move here from Temecula and they couldn't handle it. Moved back to Murrieta believe it or not a few months ago, after living here for two years.

The guy though, broke his neck and shoulder in a mountain biking accident. Fortunately he was very lucky and recovered but will not be the same. Mountain biking is very popular here. Turns out the guy (63 years old) has very fragile bones and wasn't aware. Anyway that whole episode put a damper on their experience and they decided to bail.

Of course none of this has anything to do with the California elections.

maybe (and I am not in alignment with their beliefs) but they are overall nice people and are great neighbors.

Same. They’re a little cultish and tend to do business with their own but they’re good people. They also own the gold medal when it comes to being preppers. They all stock up on water and dry goods like armageddon is tomorrow. If SHTF Utah is the place to be.
