I was wondering the same thing.  Doesn't make much sense to me.

More people will probably be able to watch part/all of the game with a 4pm start than 1pm.

The MLB feels bad for how hard they came down on the Astros after the cheating scandal so they want to give Houston a small advantage in the ALCS.

Houston went 5-2 against the Yankees this year and 4-3 against the Guardians--but had a larger run differential against the Guardians.  I imagine they'll be fairly heavily favored against either team.

Pretty dumb of the Guardians not to challenge that Rizzo sliding play at 1st last inning. Not that, you know, it'd make a difference, but in a game this important you'd think someone on the damn team would have spoken up.
