RIP Queen Elizabeth

It appears the queen’s health is declining and her family is traveling to be by her side. I’m not a big monarchy guy but she’s always been classy unlike some other people in her family.

she lived long and lived pretty darn well. 96 is nothing to sneeze at.

having been on the throne for 70 years, it's been a while since we've seen a coronation. this will be interesting to watch. i wonder how much of the pagentry will be scaled down, left out, used, included.

Not only that.  But how many countries will still keep their ties to the crown?  I think she was monarch of 17 countries, including our neighbors to the north.  

She lived a very queen like life and served her country well.  

Not a good year for world changers this year.  Abe in Japan.  Gorbachev in Russia.  Liz in Britain.

I don't think the concept of the song applies.  "Your candle burned out long before your legend ever did."

It is a good melody, but would need a major overhaul of the lyrics.
