This concept was included in the new CBA. It's not Pujols or Cabrera doing anything. They are not taking someone else's spot.

Lifetime achievement type of thing. Saw it with Jeter making it his last year and even the NBA started doing this with Dirk making it in his last season too. It's fine, it's an exhibition game
