I guess the Angels are what they are. Tryouts for every AAA and waiver wire player that can't catch on anywhere else.

Perry failed miserably in the offseason and this is the end result.

I wonder at what point the anger I have towards this team will turn to apathy? I'd imagine some of you are already there.

i'm fine with them selling trout and ohtani. trout's definitely not going to happen and ohtani probably isn't this deadline. i'm over it.

It took me 50 years to stop expecting anything and just take a single game at a time as the goal.

Why not?  Angels can finish in 4th place with or without them.

Cant develop any young players of their own so try and get some from someone else.

It’s sad that the last few years I have looked forward to baseball ending and football beginning.

This repetitive loop of failed seasons can't go on indefinitely before fans stay away. On Fox they trotted out the stats about how long the Angels have had losing records and missed the playoffs. 

Trout and Ohtani are the attractions, win or lose, so in a way team results are secondary for some fans. They'll go home talking about the stars rather than worry about the team. Who wore the cowboy hat rather than three bases loaded innings against or lack of clutch hitting 

But at some point you would think the losing seasons would affect attendence.
