Maddon leaves in a converted relief pitcher who had thrown 91 pitches in an early season game and had to sit in a cold dugout for quite a while in the 9th?

He may be a great clubhouse guy, but his moves can sometimes leave a lot to be desired.

I think most people liked the idea of bringing him out.

In hindsight, it probably wasn't a smart idea. I think we all got a little caught up in the OMG CG SHO hype, without thinking he probably shouldn't have started the 9th (we all would have complained about that too, let's be honest).

I do NOT like Joe Maddon, but this is why being a manager is hard as fuck.
