And it’s like 100% black, right?

Its everybody. The hobos are out of control. They are getting FAR more violent. And its random, against random people.

As far as the store looting thing, its gotten worse, but the seed of it has been there for awhile..... at least once a week for the past several years, cell phone stores have this happen. I still dont understand why they dont have better security.... its literally once a week...

What security measures can they take that doesn't set them up for litigation? Security cameras do not prevent loss and most cases not to an arrest. The next level is confrontation where all sorts of scenarios play out. I can see that going upside down quickly if armed rent a cop decides to go OK Corral in aisle 7.

When I was in Vegas, the boutique rich shops at the casino had a bunch of security.  And some of them locked the doors and only let in a limited amount of people.  It was actually weird to see.  But may be where we are headed.

I remember a Popeye's in SE DC that had a bank-style sheet of ballistic glass, and a turntable for delivering food.  Bars over the (closed) dining room.

That's where store-front retail is headed.

All this talk makes me want to move back to CA -  booze is expensive, and we actually have to pay for it here ...

There is a place on Gary Ave in Pomona called Donahoos Golden Chicken that has one of those 60's sign designs with a chicken on it. The building is beat with the solid steel bared screen door. I haven't tried it because I don't want my car stolen while I wait for a box of fryer oil.

I appreciate the attention fellas.  And for the curious fried chicken is my favorite food.  But the only place I remember eating it when I lived in INGLEWOOD was Dinah’s which isn’t Inglewood, I think it’s Culver City or LA.  Still solid fried chicken.

The Culver City one is still open.
