As I said before never discount either parties ability to fuck up what should be a slam dunk, particularly the republicans.  Instead they focus on Roe v Wade, Jan 6, Trump stealing documents and claiming the election was stolen whereas if they focused on things that actually mattered that a lot of people in the middle cared about they'd do alright.  Reap what you sow.
