he walked 19 times in his last 11 games and 48 times in his last 219 PA.  14 of which were intentional.  I wonder if that had to do with Mayfield, Gosselin and Suzuki hitting behind him.

Thinking back to when we signed him (and if someone could bump that thread, please do)

I remember being totally whatever about it. Thought him being a 2 way player was more gimmick than anything. Was let down we didnt get a bonafide bat that year to help trout out.

Then that first spring training happened.... and he sucked. And i didnt care, because i figured be probably would. 

Then he had that first month with us. That start against oakland, and some huge HRs.

Took a few years to see it, but damn is he amazing. Like the hype said when he came over. Pitched like Darvish, power like Matsui, speed of Ichiro. Sounded so "yeah right" at the time, but seeing it now.... wow
