Every time I see Kurt Suzuki at the plate I am reminded that the Angels do not have one single catching prospect in the organization, otherwise Suzuki would have been released on the 31st for that catcher's audition.

Wantz strikes out the side. Another reminder that he was riding the bench for like 15 straight days after being called up before his first appearance while the bullpen needed serious help.

Pretty frustrating seeing the bullpen struggle all season when we were seeing guys like Slegers, Guerra, Hoyt, and Claudio get extended run when we had guys like Wantz, Warren, Tyler and Ortega in the minors.

Remember the 10+ days Wantz sat around before getting used?  Or the 12 games it took him to get into his second game?

Selman and Petricka gave up 6 runs in 1/3 of an inning.  Gotta give innings to those vital parts of the Angels future!

They were in the minors learning how to pitch. If they were part of the Opening day roster you would be complaining how they weren't ready to pitch at this level.
