US women about to finish off the Dominican women in volleyball. the DR has a girl that's 6'7". She's pretty good, but not enough to carry her team past the US. 

US wins it in three sets and advances.

olympic boxing used to be a great event. i liked that there were only three rounds so contestants got down to business. but it's lost a lot of its interest in recent olympiads. i don't know any of the boxers anymore and they don't seem to televise many bouts. i've seen more fencing than boxing this year.

I saw some of the boxing the other day. I'm guessing you can find it on Peacock.

US men take gold and silver in the shot put. ryan crouse, the winner, wins gold for the second olympics in a row.

all five of his throws broke the existing olympic record. his final throw was the second longest in history, just shy of his own world record.
