the games are off to a start with women's softball and women's soccer already underway.

US women lost their opening round soccer match 3-0. several of the players took a knee for BLM during the national anthem, but three of the girls remained standing with hands over hearts.

the opening ceremonies are on friday night, with no fans in the stands for any events. it'll look weird.

I’m so bloody tired of watching soccer players act like they’ve torn an ACL every time they get bumped by an opposing player. Time for refs to either ignore it or yellow card them for delay of game. Really cheapens their product.

Reminds me of a Mexican fast food place that used to be in HB named Jose McCoy's.  Some of the best greasy grab and go Mexican fast food.  The fact that they didn't even bother to remove the clothesline system the prior dry cleaning tenant had installed made the drive thru experience even better.
