they were down 7-4 at one point but came on strong. they'll play spain for gold on saturday.

sort climbing (rock climbing) was on earlier this morning. this is the first year it's been an olympic event. the speed event where you climb a wall as fast as you can against a competitor was the only interesting format (there are three). wasn't terribly impressed.
