I'm probably in the minority here, but this 'derby' is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

Hope something doesn't happen to Shohei.

The trade off with that format, however, was that the derby lasted three hours. That was hard to watch, too.

I actually like the new format with the timed sessions etc. The presentation is just all over the place though

Yep. You'd have stretches where dudes just stood there not swinging the bat on like 5-6 consecutive pitches.

the point of this event is to watch the counter in the upper left. Humans don't focus fast enough to watch each shot. They have to get the field clear for the celebrity softball game at 7 PT.
