Sutton still going on about Lagares' huge 26 AB "hot streak" earlier this season.  Give it up, man.  He was 10 for 26.  I'm sure I could probably find a similar stretch for Jeff Mathis if I looked hard enough.

That said, glad he just got a double!

Lol, literally the first season of his that I chose at random fits the bill.  Mathis started out the 2008 season by going 11 for 29 with a .759 slg %.

Since that spiel I’ve pondering the figurative term “white hot” and why the term “blue hot” might as well be used.  A blue flame is hotter.  Hmmm.  I’m autistic or something.
