Angels hire Matt Vasgersian as their new PBP announcer

Sutton is doing a really really good job of making Gubi talk pitching and offer deeper insights than usual, he's pretty much lead him to set up batters as its happening in real time.  Gubi tends to offer up what he would do on his own but Sutton has really been good at driving the conversation towards the more mechanical stuff.

Its been nice.

I was talking to a coworker today about the exact same thing. Gubi is an encyclopedia of pitching knowledge.  He just needs the right guy to extract it from his brain.
