Also, memes with randomness and chaos don’t contain actual humor which should makes sense I guess since humor died after Gen X.

I remember going to the store with my parents whenever the TV stopped working testing suspected bad tubes and looking for replacement ones. Whatever tube that wasn't glowing was likely the culprit. I always wondered how accurate these things were.

After a while, my mother started keeping tubes in a box in the hall closet. If the TV quit, she looked for a tube that wasn't glowing and tried to find a tube in the box that fit the socket (tube numbers be damned). Probably 75 percent of the time, her fix worked.
