Since he's kind of an unknown quantity, it is going to depend on the price.  

For our club, Fletcher is our SS, so he would also have to be agreeable to being a 2B.

Worth a consideration but i would rather prefer us to go after an pitcher if one get's posted.

Reportly Japanese Pitcher Hirokazu Sawamura is looking to jump up to the MLb. 

He has a Fastball that can reach 97, a wipe-out Spilt and a slider.

He could be a piece to looks, could be a cheap arm on the market.

In before you know who shares the narrative that Ohtani only signed with the Angels if they promised they wouldn't sign another Japanese player.

Also was promised under Eppler, new gm may bring a different mind set. We also need to remember, that when we signed Ohtani, we were expecting a solid 2 and maybe a good 1, we haven't gotten that. So if their is arm available that could potentially be a 2 or 3, we should go after them.
