He is significantly better than Pujols at this point. Even defensively. He'll make a boneheaded play every so often but he has more range.

You can only have so many DHs though, and Stella is clearly not a defensive stalwart.

He’s a 1st baseman. By far the Angels best option there. Like, it’s not even close

Its pretty simple. Just throw strikes. Rangers have a pathetic lineup, yet Canning thought he could K everybody. Just throw strikes, your not that good.. look at Lyles. Marginal at best, but throws strikes, and will get the W

Saying he has more range than Pujols isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement....a two legged dog has more range than Pujols...

7th!? I'd give you 5th, because Fletcher has been so good this year but 6th or 7th means you're putting Goodwin and maybe buying into 25 plate appearances from one of our catchers.

That's all it takes to get in the lineup at first base when you are already a better hitter.
