Yeah, Maddon made mention of this at the post game press conference.  Either Rhett Bollinger or Jeff Fletcher asked him if he would be available to DH today and Maddon said “highly possible.”

I think, mentally, this will help him a lot.  IMO, getting him back out on the field and not just sitting in the dugout will help keep him focused on the task, and not reminiscing about yesterday’s debacle.

I do wonder how long the leash is on Albert. I’m hopeful that when Rendon comes back La Stella goes to 1st. Then that just leaves the DH spot open when Ohtani isn’t in it (3 days a week). A team built like this one can’t afford to be giving away outs from that spot

Hypothetically, if the season shuts down suddenly because of the Covid factor the Angels may never have seen Rendon this year. Most likely though he will start the next series and be monitored carefully. 

With the problems scoring so far he really is critical to the offense. Upton needs another big bat ahead of him. Especially with Pujols seemingly in perpetual decline.
