I don't think he means that directly, but it's implied they're going to need to use their guns solely because Bernie is President. Why would that be the case?

Just say you took your kids to learn to use guns. Nothing wrong with that. 

But he made it political and the implications are not good. It has nothing to do with "gun control", especially since Bernie has been on record saying taking guns away is unconstitutional. 

Basically, he is training his kids to shoot people because under "socialism" that's what you need to do. It's batshit.
