I remember Adam Corolla calling Ric Ocasek the poor man's David Byrne. I thought that was really unfair as The Cars were highly talented and influential in the New Wave era. I can still remember sitting in the passenger seat of my mom's station wagon listening to the Candy-O album on cassette.
